    Let’s talk gun cases

Pelican 1750 with my rifle in an Armageddon Gear soft case. I then pack clothes and such around the rifle case to hold it all tight. I used to go the cut foam route, but that was a pain for changing guns. Then I just did softer foam sandwiching the gun and realized that would allow the gun...

    Scythe-Ti recoil reduction

Yes, VERY different. The Scythe or any silencer will have MUCH more recoil…but the lack of noise is well worth the trade off.

    Scythe-Ti recoil reduction

I have the OG harvester and the Scythe. I have shot both on a 6.5 and .308 and can’t tell a difference recoil wise.

Good book suggestion for winter read list

I read a ton of books, 50+ a year. Some recent books I have enjoyed Rebel with a cause - Franklin Grahm The Gray Man series by Mark Greaney - a little over the top, but non-stop action Anything John Grisham, I have read every single book he has written and enjoy them all. Gary Moutan is one...

    North Georgia Mountain Bear

Awesome! Paying dues is right, but my mentality was that every miserable second walking through joro spider webs, crawling through mountain laurel and 4 point crawling up a steep slope only made success that much sweeter!

    North Georgia Mountain Bear

For sure! I told my wife the week before “I am sick of bear hunting, I am going to back to deer hunting”. I live in the Northern suburbs of Atlanta on 5 acres, so a deer hunt is a 60 yard walk into the woods, climb up a tree and in all the years I have lived here not once have I not seen at...

    North Georgia Mountain Bear

Yes, I tried both spot/stalk and sitting in a stand. One person told me the best way to hunt bears here is to go scouting with your bow in hand, I think that is the way.

    North Georgia Mountain Bear

Four years, 50+ miles of hiking, and I finally connected with a public land black bear deep in the Chattahoochee National Forest. I stalked her for about 20 minutes through some thick brush before getting the opportunity to thread an arrow between a few trees at 32 yards. The arrow hit just...

    Proposition 127 donation recommendation

Howdy, I am a Georgia guy but would like to contribute to fighting Prop 127 in Colorado as this kind of cancer will continue to spread across the country. Who is leading the charge in fighting this? I would like to make a donation and encourage my fellow Georgians to chip in. Thanks, Luke
