Figured it out. The spring goes in the hole in the rear of the sear(?) and is held in place by the safety. Pushes against that safety bar from the inside.
Thanks for the help and just in case anyone else ever does this…
Thanks. I don’t see how it can be the trigger spring if I didn’t do anything with that adjustment screw right? And it wasn’t under much tension because it just fell and the trigger operates correctly.
I feel dumb asking this and I searched but can’t find it’s been asked before and couldn’t google up an answer…
I did the barrel swap on an older T3 and between whacking the action wrench and carrying the barreled action around the house the safety loosened up and slid out. Everything fell right...
Just finished mine and it was tough to break the factory barrel loose.
Older T3 blued barrel, blued action purchased in around 2010 or so.
I knew the tools were on the way so started dripping Kroil from the action end standing upright with a bag around the muzzle a few days prior to starting...
You’re not old! I was in the absolute best shape of my life at 40. I’m a 26 year competitive cyclist that generally does 30-40 races a year and that 40 plus group is no joke. I look at it as experience…and here’s your meme
I have two Larue triggers and feel like they are a great trigger. One was on a rifle I shot a lot and I would highly recommend them, especially for the cost as you pointed out.
I don’t believe they make the stainless in Tikka prefit anymore for some reason. I may be off on that and what you’re looking for.
I tried to read as many reviews as I could for the available prefit steel barrels and just went with this one when the opportunity arose and since I had seen how...
I know someone whose rifle shoots lights out with one.
I have mine here beside me but I haven’t threaded it on yet. I wasn’t in much hurry until the Rokstock showed up.
Maple! It doesn’t always have to be the blonde color you see from Browning. A good piece of wood with stump features and good curl will still be pretty reasonable for a modern rifle.
