Yes I wear a 9.5 and the Medium is perfect, very tight on the boot itself and need to be on perfect but then fit awesome. If they seem too tight to fit over the boot loosen the strap that goes under the sole of the boot.
I already have the Corrugate Foundry Pants as well as the insulated Catalyst Foundry and I feel like my Corrugate Foundry Pants have like zero water repellency, they honestly seem like a sponge. I wonder if I just have a bad pair. The Catalyst definitely repels water better but those are just...
How does washing work with the wax applied? Does it damage your washing machine or get on other clothes? Does washing strip the wax?
I’ve never used any waxed clothing before.
They are a little on the loose side to what they say. I wear a size 9.5 boot and have a 14” calf and the mediums are what I use. They are very tight on the boot so if my boot was any bigger I would need the large.
Honestly great advice thanks and I will keep this in mind for some applications. I’m looking for something to wear in the mountains chasing elk though. Maybe these do have a place in the mountains too?
Who out there has a pant they love and recommend for those days when the grass and brush is wet but it isn't raining. Like after a wet snow or a morning with a lot of dew.
I don't want a pant that will make me sweat bad like a rain pant would but something that can stand up to water shedding...
I have had a Sitka Jetstream since 2017 and have felt it is useless, as stated by others, it doesn't keep me warm or dry, but makes me sweat a lot. Its decent if i'm being lightly active in a light drizzle or light snow but it isn't worth carrying, it's okay for around camp and truck hunting...
I have been using the Outdoor Research helium Down Hoodie the last few years and love it. It is lighter, cheaper, and more durable than the Stone Glacier. I love that it also has reinforced patches on the shoulders and hood.
The SG Grumman is definitely warmer by a smidge but you pay in $$ and...
I just found this thread and tried to buy but they are gone. I have these gaiters and love them. Congrats to all of you who picked some up. I was going to buy more.
I got an awesome quick response from Williams this morning and they say that for my sight radius each hash mark represents approximately 0.75 MOA. Each hash mark is 0.025 inches apart so that means that to move the POI 1 MOA you would need to move the sight by 0.033 inches. What I have above...
But I have been hearing we will basically never be seeing these powders again. I heard it was going to stop being sold. I have been wanting to get my hands on some RL 23 for a while and have never seen it for sale.
Thanks this is super helpful.
I plugged in the numbers of my rifle for 100 yards and it is returning a value of 0.006 when I put the distance from centerline at 1”. So I think this means that for every 6 thousands you move the sight it would equate to 1” on target.
Does anyone know how much downrange movement at 100 yards you should get for each hash mark on the elevation adjustment on the rear sight on the Williams Western Precision Sight. I have it mounted on a CVA Optima. I also emailed Williams and will put the reply here once I get one. My sight...
