What does everybody think of the WBY cartidges?
240 WBY or 257 WBY. They seem to be hot on the heels of everything above but available in factory offerings. The 257 looks to be in 1:10 twist which is an issue but they are chambering the 240 WBY in 1:7.5.
I have never heard of it being an issue nor experienced it.
The only related but different sort of issue I have had is that my GMRS radios make my Sig stabilized binos go crazy.
I’m definitely buying in to the whole dampening thing. It’s not exclusive to this new MDT though. I have switched my rifle around stocks as well as shots friends rifles and it is very apparent that the foam filled carbon stocks are nicer to shoot and feel more “dead”.

I got a jewelry hand drill on Amazon and drilled mine out. Most were already clear but probably 1:8 are not totally clear. It’s nice piece of mind.
My buddy borrowed my rifle over the weekend and used it with Berger bullets for the first time on game and we both loved the result. 2350fps impact...

I have found lots this...
I want to add here that this was my 300WSM rifle shooting 215 Bergers at 2780. It was my first time hunting with Bergers and I am sold. For one these bullets shoot amazingly accurate in this rifle but second I am very happy with the terminal performance. The shot was a little back in the rear...
“Guided” my buddy on to his first buck yesterday. We were after a bigger buck I spotted last night but after a long hike with light fading and this one in range he was beyond stoked since he wanted to get it done this weekend.
We were on our way around the top of a drainage to get a look back...
