Happy with my Dewalt as well. For occasional use and small jobs, it is awesome to not have to crank up a saw. I think there are better options but I had the batteries for other tools so it was the easy option for me.
Some cool pieces. Looks like they are taking on the kuiu Tiburon for hot weather pants.
Looking forward t these but overall, I would have preferred to see Ol Cal model more of the collection. That guy is a dang sexual 🦖🦖🦖. i assume they can’t afford him ever since his OnlyFans page has...
Cool.
I have a few toys rom cold steel. i wouldn’t say a of hem disappoint in terms of value. Like my most recent purchase - after rewatching the entire Vikings series I really needed a bearded axe in my life. Nice ones were +$200, which was more than I cared to spend. $37 later I have a...

Tie it in with 550 cord works fine. Or Get two molle clips and attach to the sheath thru the riVot holes with chicgo screws. Use a little blue loctite.
Pinching tag. Do your 4 quadrant analysis.
1 - no adventure + no animal = bad
2 - adventure + no animal = good
3 - no adventure + animal = pretty good
4 - adventure + animal = very good
I like my trigger sticks for some uses but tbh I can get a pretty steady hold off a standard bipod. I hook two fingers to bBrace against one of the legs of center post (fully extended) and slide up and down as needed.
I have been flirting with the idea of one of these for a few years now. Post Covid, parts shortages had prices in the stupid category. they have come down quite a bit for new and used now. Need AWD for snow but I want it mainly for highway driving and some mild dirt roads. I am keeping my...
I bought a couple of pair of delta flex. $99 each. They fit and wear well so far. I don’t mind paying up to support a US company making stuff in the US. Certainly seem well built but maybe not bombproof. Time will tell how they hold up.
Not specific to this tent but my DCF tent floors and ground clothes seem to get pin holes but not horrendous tears. IMO you trade off some durability (and higher cost) for the lighter weight Vs sil Or nylon. The way may DCF gear has held up with my use level - maybe 5-20 nights a year...
A bit off topic, but I have been using a neoprene sleeve for my phone the last two years and no longer have issues with it getting destroyed in the woods. Sleeve sits in my pocket or bino harnes and protects as well as keeping debris out of the charging ports.
Good luck. I have kids and the don’t call. They barely text. Plus all their activities coordinate through text and FB. In another 10 years, your phone will be your wallet.
Are you looking for something super warm?
I went on that search a couple of years ago. I wanted something super warm as a static insulation piece. Caveat that I am a bigger guy - 2XL in most tops - and I wanted something that was sized to go over all my layers plus bino harness. Basically...
I think you should decide if you want a wired/framed version or something without structure that lighter but might be better used with a tarp.
I am a bivy fan. I tend to prefer the simpler versions and use a tarp when I need overhead cover. I used a 2# army bivy for years. Switched to...
