Fwiw I tried the rubber rubber glove (expensive) ad finger cot things. They sorta work but tear. Tape is cheap and more durable IMO and I am usually carrying some anyway.
Have done it along with some trail building tools for a project. Unless you are gonna do it a lot, I would doubt you need a purpose built rig. Anything with a decent load shelf or pack board can work. I used a nice frame and crew cab. Rigged the saw blade down at an angle on the pack...
I have all 3 (and big hands).
19 - if I only had one handgun, it would be a 19. As a concealed carry gun, I think the micro 9s are better options. My carry is a p365. I shoot a 19 fine, but prefer a factory plus 2 mag for a bit of extra length on the grip. If you are running an x3000...
I would agree, one meal equals one serving.
FWIW, I am a big fan of peak. I probably use their meals for 75% of my back country dinners with the balance being whatever else seems interesting at REI.
Welcome.
I have some pelicans and SKB cases that I tend to fly with. Pelicans are tanks. Expensive, heavy and bombproof. The SKB 5009 cases are good too. A notch below pelican, but mine have been fine apart from some lock issues that were fixed under warranty.
SKB iseries are a good...
I like it. The last few seasons have been a bit weird in that it is pretty obvious who is gonna win.
You have one guy that is like I lived with the Russian version of eskimos for 10 years and everyone else is like I have a you tube channel that shows videos on how to make a bow drill...
How are your eyes?
I have a NXS 2-10 on one of my hunting rifles and a 2.5 x 20 on another.
My 50 year old eyes like more magnification for longer shots.
When I get around to it, I will be converting that 2-10 to a 2.5-20.
My $0.02 -
there are some “outdoor” power banks that are super rugged and weather resistant. If I was a guide or whatever and spent +100 days a year in the woods and beat the hell out of it, I would use one of those. I have a dark energy power bank and it is fine and works as advertised...
I like mine but only have a few nights in it. I would say it is true to rating with a decent pad. You will be the envy of your camp buddies sitting around in it on a cold morning.
I use them often. I feel like with high hunting boots, I don’t always need them. When I do p, I have 3 pair
OR crocs - rarely used for anything but the heaviest snow. Those straps are wear items by the way and are meant to be replaced.
Kuiu - I would call these mid weight. Mainly...
Screw those meat eater guys. I have been lobbying for Ole Cal to pose semi nude for 5-6 years and they stopped returning my emails. I think they may have even blocked me.
Owing to the recent Muley Freak controversy, I will kindly help you cleanse your soul and dispose of your night force scopes and optics at the same time. Just send them to me along with a small $25 processing fee and I will dispose of them appropriately. You are then free to hunt with a non...
Meh.
I don’t personally go looking for my coffee / beer / clothing companies to fight my political battles. I do like to support brands that I find have a good message behind them but I still by from brands that are all over the political and social map. At some point, if they make enough...
I started with a cabelas version. It was Ok.
Bought, wore and sold the Firstlite. I am XXl top and it didn’t have enough room for layers in cold.
Been using a north mountain for 5 years. Wish I would have found them first. Same price as cabelas. Far more durable and better...
I had been a brcc fan for a while but I had a couple of boxes that had seals on packaging go bad. They were like little blocks of concrete in the packs. Switched back to via and haven’t found a reason to change.
Assuming you bought it at a good price, it should be a good piece for you. I have a 2015ish kelvin light that I still use. I don’t feel the ned to upgrade just to shave a few ounces.
In my experience, synthetic insulation ages well when stored and cared for properly (washing and drying are...
