    I have the big boy, but I haven't cut any large blow downs with it. Just cut smaller logs for firewood. It is a great saw though, I love it.

    From what I’ve heard, meat goats don’t have the stamina that the dairy breeds have. But I know people that pack with Boers.

    I live in eastern WA and we have sage. They don't seem to like it too much, they will browse the fresh growth a bit like a mule deer would but besides that leave it alone.

    Its just a foam cylinder I got from amazon that I cut to length. Though I will not be making this design in the future most likely. It is a pain to make and I will be going with a Sopris style breast strap.

    My dad has drawn it twice with around 6 to 8 points. I have 16 elk points and still haven't drawn ever. So it's a crap shoot if you ask me. I might start putting in for some of the units outside of yakima or ellensburg now. I haven't decided.

    The panniers would likely work depending on their size. The saddles will likely be too big. You may be able to modify the saddle to fit a goat depending on the design of the saddle.
