Grizzly electric fence?
I’ve not used the bear watch system but have researched systems and that looks like a real solid option. I’m assembling my own and it will probably come in about the same price and weight as their system.- darcytribe

Is that the unit that uses 2 AA batteries? The Joules seems lower than most, but it gets good reviews. What do you use for your ground if you are using this in the western US? Also, where did you get those clips?- darcytribe
