Last week of the season.
By then, many people have had their hearts broken and gone home. Also might get some weather (snow) which generally increases the odds of seeing deer and deer migrating. Just occasionally a doe will come into heat early and really turn things on. This all assumes a...
I had a 6mm Creed built and bought a variety of factory loads and components to try. I've landed on what my rifle prefers and thusly have a few odds and ends of leftover...stuff.
I have...
- Full box of 6mm Creedmoor ELD-x rounds (20).
- 11 loaded 95 LRX rounds from Barnes in 6 Creed
- 9...
Rokslide demand isn't the issue.
SWFA's were popular on other web-sites much earlier than Rokslide. They've had a cult following on 24Hourcampfire and Snipers Hide for many, many years.
There have been a few long-time fans here on the Slide,...but most of the devotion has occurred in the last...
I felt EXACTLY the same way when I first saw them. As soon as I shot mine the first time, I was a fan. They are indeed a bit "Buck Rogers-ish"...but they've grown on me.
I think there is some functionality there too, in terms of barrel stiffness and associated accuracy with some weight...
Any UTV over 50” is a mistake if you frequent USFS lands on a regular basis imho.
They manage to a 50” width limit, and in spite of a previous posters response to the contrary, you will be excluded from thousands of miles of trails across the west.
Feel free to check here for yourself. This is...
Appreciate the feedback. I’ve had a couple of the Loopy HDs and my experiences are similar.
I just don’t have any frame of reference with the new Razor. I’ll likely go back to what I know with the Loopy as it’s a more proven commodity for me.
Just thought I’d check in and see if folks have had...
They occupy similar space in the spotting scope world. Anyone with hands-on experience with these two that can offer up some thoughts/differences between them?
I think I'm most interested in "image quality" given the similar price-points, size, weight, warranty, etc.
Many thanks for your...
Except that the majority of their sales aren't going to be in Europe. Gun-crazy America is no doubt their largest sales channel and suppressor shooters are extremely rare across the landscape in spite of what many here believe. That'll continue to be the case unless federal regulations are...
That's not accurate. Mostly what you're seeing is a few, very vocal (and misguided imho) people advocating for that.
EVERY time IDFG ask the question to hunters across the state, the overwhelming majority want to prioritize OTC opportunity over anything else.

It’s apparent within a few responses the OP is either a troll or painfully dim-witted. I’ll let you decide which.
Either way, bandwidth utilized by way of a response is clearly a waste of time.
You’re not likely to find used, because both are spectacular and it doesn’t take much use to ascertain as much.
Hard to imagine someone turning loose of ether in the absence of something entirely new and considerably less expensive.
I‘d respectfully suggest jumping on ehuffaker’s offer.

Havak element by a goodly margin and in 6 Creed if I’m picking.
The trigger “weakness” really isn’t,…unless you’re trying real hard to MAKE it fail.
But heck, it’s the internet so everyone is an “operator” and you never know when you might need to do a scuba deployment from a submarine in the...
I’d like to see more bunch grass planted too…but that’s not typically what happens after a fire. Fire burns everything, then cheatgrass grows back in the wake of the fire.
This all results in less deer…imho…due to less winter graze, and less hiding cover in the case of lost sagebrush.
I...
