Luckily for me I don’t need to watch someone else’s videos. I have my own experiences to draw from. My kid was riding out quarters when he was 12. I’ve been paid to ride motorcycles in the wilds of Idaho for going on 30 years…but freedom of choice is a wonderful thing.

I had the pleasure of seeing this bull in person at the IDFG office. It was getting checked while we waited to get ours checked. Congrats again bud. Great bull.
Btw…ours taped 43” for what that’s worth.

VLDs. They've been stone-cold killers for me, in this chambering and others...notably the 168 and 180 VLDs in 7 Rem Mags and 7 PRCs.
Dave
P.s…my son killed this bull with nary a step taken with a 180 VLD.
I've done and tried it all....hardwood, coal, unicorn horns...you name it. Without question the pressed energy logs are the way to go. They were $1.05 apiece at local D&B. Burn waaaay longer than regular wood and moderate temperatures beautifully. Used as recently as two days ago....

They will not start moving in "mid-October" unless there is a drastic, drastic weather change between now and then. Looking at long-term forecast(s), I wouldn't expect to see any real movement until sometime in November.
If you're planning to hunt "winter range" in mid-October this year, I'd...
To be clear...you mean you believe in keeping your job.
If others downstream lost their job because of interruptions as a result of the strike...that would seem to matter a bit less? If the engineers responsible for developing automation lose their jobs...also okay?
I'm not faulting you for...
Not sure who told you that diamondback scopes were “magnum rated”…but you should seek new counsel.
I’m betting heavily it’s your sub-par scope giving up the ghost.

Unless you want a lot of company, I’d recommend against posting photos of lakes my man. It took me two seconds to identify both of them. I’ll see you up there in October.
