I've heard mixed reports on this. Haven't formally tested it myself. But I prefer to avoid magnetic harnesses as there's definitely potential for strong magnets in proximity to the sensitive compass in your unit to be effected. Better to just avoid it if possible, IMO.
Biggest thing for me (I'm biased, obviously), but for hunting I really don't want the reticle in my binos. They look like a great unit, but that's a deal-breaker for me.
You mean the bino or the mil/leo discount? You can order directly from Gunwerks.com or Revicoptics.com. we do offer a discount for active mil/leo. Call in and we can get that done over the phone. (307) 296-7301
I tried to get it in with our engineers for this last revision, but it didn't happen.
The SRS rails are an awesome product. I'm personally a big fan, but they're not a standard Picatinnny or STANAG 4694 rail. Out of spec in that regard where the center has been removed. To my understanding The...
I've done a test fit with the SRS rail. It definitely mounts up fine, but will move under recoil as there is no engagement with the milled out recoil grooves on the rail.
That's the idea! :) We felt like the features and function were perfect, just needed some refinements to improve longevity. Keep us posted how you like it!
Anyone with one of the original Elevate bipods, we're happy to get it replaced with a brand new Elevate 2.0 bipod. Drop your original bipod in the mail back to Gunwerks HQ, include a sheet in the box with your name, email, phone and the address you want the replacement shipped to and we'll get a...
Yes! In some of those cases we don't have records of who bought to notify them directly, but it will apply to anyone with one of the original bipods. Send it in and we'll get it replaced for you.
So much has changed, it depends on which part you're replacing. But if you have a first gen bipod, we'll swap it out for an Elevate 2.0 bipod free of charge here in a month or so when we have them ready.
Good timing. We actually had an update going out to bipod customers today, but I'll drop a few details here.
An update here on the Elevate 2.0 bipod. We've completed revisions and testing. Going in to production shortly and expect to begin shipping new bipods in March. We'll be prioritizing...
I'm curious to see how this pairs with the Elevate bipod. Would you keep me posted on your findings? The NeoLok mechanism has a center stud that aligns with the slots in the pic rail, but I've heard some reports that it's narrow enough to slip through on some of these rails with the center...
@wnelson14 it's designed and assembled in the US. We utilize quality overseas partners to manufacture some of the components. Honestly, we've seen overseas parts from the right partners beat many domestic sources. We could go fully US manufactured, but it would easily double the price and...
Understood. I know a lot of guys are moving that way. Our Gunwerks rifles all utilize integrated picatinny bipod rails, so it was the natural first place for us to go to support, but we've definitely got ARCA options prioritized on the roadmap!
Thanks! It seems almost silly to be this excited about a bipod when we've got things like rifles and optics to work on, but ultimately a bipod has so much impact on the overall shooting experience, it really IS A big deal! I've had the chance to hunt and shoot with this bipod for the last 2...
Haha. I knew this was the first question coming! Yes. It's in the works. I don't have any specific timeline yet, but we're working on getting ARCA options added to the lineup. Spike feet coming down the line as well.
