    I just picked up a Savage LWS in .308, and want to mount my VX-3 3.5-10x40 on it using the Talley Lightweight rings. I’ve read some reviews where the magnification adjustment ring won’t fit (hits) the base on the lows… thinking I need the Mediums?

    There is no bottom metal on the Edge/axis I thought… magwell is just molded into stock isn’t it? why is that? Savage sells a ton of rifles, you would thing they would have the mags for them as well

    They are snug but not tight in ankle, heel, and instep area, and I like the fit there. Like I said, I put 15+ miles on them pheasant hunting, and while no elevation change there is a lot of uneven footfalls ( plowed fields, etc) and I didn’t get any hotspots or blisters, so the fit can’t be that...
