    7prc next to 135 berger at 3.260” Medium vesper is good for 3.4” That should be ideal even with the 145s. I just ordered a steel Bartlein and they told me 6 months. But the wait for the carbons could be longer.

    2900 should be the top node with the 133 and h4350 before it’s starts wrecking brass quickly. Maybe but I wouldn’t go any shorter than 18” you will be losing a lot of velocity per inch once you get below 22” with a 25-7prc.

    It’s handy, easy to carry, and still very capable out to medium ranges. All braked guns are loud at any barrel length. It’s not like he could shoot it without ear protection if the barrel was longer.

    I have some 77s I need to try also. Yes thats with 35.5gr of varget at 3250 and a flattened primer with Hornady brass. At 38gr I saw 3380fps with an ej mark and some bolt lift. I’ve seen others run 39gr of varget with lapua brass. But tikka barrels aren’t known to be the fastest either. I’m...

    Figured out the issue. As suspected it was the Hornady fl die. Once I switched to a Hornady fl bushing die it fixed my problem and I ran a piece of Hornady brass 8x with the h-1000 load and could have gone more but stopped there.
