    22 ARC

Running a 7twist 90gr 2925fps and a 7.5twist 110 a tip at 2900 26” bbls. In a 10mph 3cl wind the 110s show to have 2.5” less drift at 1000yds 49” vs 51.5” Not taking sides, just throwing that out there from my AB program.

Nice and easy fix. I used to tighten pockets with a small ball bearing and a punch through the case. But I don’t mess with it anymore.

Lee I reload for everything so I’d like to end up running factory ammo in this but I want to experiment a little to.

For me it would be the weight of an ar-10 set up, too heavy. You can make them lighter but they don’t seem to function as well and have more recoil. I would personally prefer an ar15 setup in 22arc but at longer ranges the 22CM will shine of course. My smith did build a heavy one awhile back...

A heat gun would help too.

    New Ruger American Gen II

March SFP Moa 1.5-15x42, illuminated MTR-5 23oz I tried at first holding the rifle and turning with a wrench. After that didn’t work I got the heaviest crescent wrench I could find that still fit the wrench flats on the brake. Held the rifle with my left hand and with the crescent wrench...

Called BC and the sporter stock only works with rotary mags. Il be interested to see how it shoots after break in but not bad so far. I’m going to see how the factory 62s shoot soon. I did order some die’s to test hand loads with the 80gr eld and see how fast I can push the 95smks just to get...

Just saw that earlier looking at the b&c’s but it might work if you use the drop in from the factory stock and just leave out the trigger gaurd it comes with. Would need to contact them and ask. Mdt field stock looks great for the price but it’s 3lbs and the b&c is 2lb. I’m going for light and...

Picked one of these up in 22arc 20” bbl. First few shots with factory Black ammo 75eld ms were going 2960fps AVG. Factory 62gr eldm was 3140fps AVG. It should speed up another 100fps after break in. Shot 2 10 shot groups at 100yds today with the factory 75elds. Wind was was 8mph from 10cl...

    6.5 Grendel 12" or 16"

I would go 12” since you already have a 18”. My suppressed 12.5” 6.5grendel does well out to 200 yards and sits on the console in the truck well. It’s 8.5lbs with a loaded 10rd mag. Go with a mid length gas system and adjustable gas block if you can. I run Factory 123s 2280fps 123 Handloads...

    Best cartridge for coyote/hog hunting in a factory tikka? 243 1:8 or 223 1:8

Just the normal lite. I had a lot of the monarch 100gr Soft points that were 10.99/box 20 at academy that I stockpiled. They shot well out to 500 yards and I killed a lot of varmints, pigs, deer, and steel with them at 50 cents a round and a still using the ppu brass for certain reloads. Wish...

    Best cartridge for coyote/hog hunting in a factory tikka? 243 1:8 or 223 1:8

Tikka 243win suppressed 16” running 88gr at 2980 or 69gr hammers at 3450 for hogs and 55gr BT at 3615 for coyotes with thermal. I’ve killed hogs with my 16” t3 223rem to but the 243 is better for obvious reasons

I took a pin drill to the 25cal 131aces, they are made by Sierra and pointed also. And opened the Hp to .019” maybe .001-.002 thousands bigger than it was originally. It’s mainly to clean up the edges of the small Hp and get any debris out of there. Made quite a difference in terminal...
