    I decided to swing for the fence. Seared whole mule deer tenders in hot butter, set aside and sauteed shallots, butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and cognac until uniform. Added sliced tenders back for two mins. Served with mixed small potatoes. Didn't have enough sauce for the potatoes.

    When my African buddy sets up a new camp, the first thing he does is shoot an Oryx cow for camp meat. Impala, springbok and warthog are consumed constantly, but Gemsbuck is always preferred. I've had moose while caribou hunting and think that was the best game meat I've ever had.

    There are so many newer powders that have come out in the past 20 years. I've loaded 7mag for a long time......from 115's up to 175's. 160 accubonds with H4831 or H1000 for me.
