Tough part will be sleep system. You’ll need a very compressible bag along with a small shelter to make things easier to fit. Bag (or even better a quilt if they work for you) depends on expected conditions. September no big deal, but October and snow just requires more clothing. For a...
1. Please edit your pro deal reference out of this post.
2. For the $ invested MR is great, but their evolution to their current pack form has been slow, and certainly not customer focused. The main differentiation with MR is high thickness but more narrow padding. If their frame, harness...
Axial Precision was their original name before rebranding to Alterra - they stopped doing component stocks for a good while, but are selling them again. They recently released a different version of their stock that is very similar to what the Rokstock is doing, geometry wise.
Xmid 1p is awesome for a solo shelter, especially for the weight/price. I’ve also discussed some things direct with Dan on materials, design etc and he was very sincere and detailed with his responses. The thing I really like about the design is there’s lots of gear room, or you can really...
Hey Tony can you get Sitka to comment on the fill they used? And why it’s different from the sleeping bag, which actually advertises the “hyperdry” allied feather product? Just curious behind the story of “why” with the product. It looks awesome, been waiting for the Sitka mega puffy. Also -...
If using a stud system, the outdoorsman’s is a lot nicer than the field optics research one. Worth the upgrade. I’ve been using an axial clamp and really like the simplicity of it.

Spot burning is real.
There’s a whole lot of folks who show up once to ask about very specific units and never contribute. It gets old. The rules you are complaining about aren’t created out of thin air, there’s a reason. It isn’t BS.
Liberal takeover, china, tinfoil hats, seriously...
does it appear to flicker? I've noticed when moving my reticle is weaker, it's almost like a flicker, then I stop and it's solid again. I wonder if that's an abberation with the LED display.
Would be interested to hear what Leica says about it. I was going to do the 5K sig for their...
Heard a few stories like that, was dead set on a Kilo 5k before the CRF-Pro was released. They seem to offer the most (Sig) features, like the archery mode, but QC sounds a bit rocky…..
Black Ovis put a video out on it, and their product description still shows primaloft gold down blend in 800 fill power rating. The video (which is pretty hard to watch) confirms the same fill. Where that bag is called out with the 900 FP allied product. I seriously don’t get it, especially...
