    Let them grow?

I gotta say, all debate aside, it's pretty cool to see the antler progression over the years. Kudos to those who are tracking and picking up sheds yearly.

Trijicon Tenmile 3-18x44mm Field Eval Q&A

So after listening to one of the recent Hunt Backcountry Podcasts, I don't think Form would approve, but I got first round vital impacts at 704yds on my most recent bull with this scope after a long unpaved drive, a jet boat ride, and a long hike, Zero retention has been perfect, dialing is...

    Weston 2300 Vacuum Power?

Thanks. I’m returning it; having a hard time getting it to reliably work. Something is definitely amiss.

Do you tip your game processor?

If you're going to the same guy, giving him regular business and he's consistently giving you a good product, I'd certainly be more prone to tipping. As you already mentioned, it can secure future good service, and becomes a little more transactional in nature than giving a dollar or two to a...

Avery vs. JvB - Podcast Back and Forths

I knew I wasn't the only one, but holy shit I can't stand to listen to him talk. I think it's everything you mentioned, plus the little extra bit of added pretentiousness and over the top old timey flair for good measure.

Do you tip your game processor?

I don't want to hijack your thread, but what are you paying to get your game processed? I think that would strongly influence my decision to tip or not. If I'm paying a premium, I don't usually feel compelled to add even more to the total cost.

Do you tip your game processor?

I've never taken anything to a processor, but after looking at the prices the local places charge, I don't think I could afford to tip even if I wanted to.

    Let them grow?

Genetics can be crazy. I occasionally hunt an area for blacktail where the majority are 2x2's. They can be old, big bodied deer with big bases and a lot of them never get more than 2 points on each side. A few miles away 4x4's are the norm.

    NF vs Trijicon

My buddy bought an NX8 and I bought a Tenmile. I've used both side by side and don't regret getting the Tenmile. We're both very happy with our purchases and neither of us is looking to change.

Leofoto mh35 ball head not very good

Interesting. I've used the LH ball heads as glassing/shooting ball heads and they've held up to both tasks. I have an LH-36 and LH-40 and both will support my rifle.

    Which game bags? (Brand/size)

They're not my favorite bags either. Every time I've used them the meat sticks to them and doesn't crust up. I borrowed some and used these for the first time this year and really liked them. I'll be buying a set.

    Let them grow?

I have been a resident of and hunted in numerous western states, and I will always side with priority going to residents. I don't know if what I'm talking about is ruining if for the residents, or even a non resident vs resident hunter issue. It's how I believe the majority of people hunt. A...

    Osso Bucco

I was just talking with my buddy telling him my favorite cuts are most peoples trash or grind cuts. For me it doesn't get much better than a slow cooked shank or neck roast from about any critter.

    Weston 2300 Vacuum Power?

I just got a Weston Pro 2300 as an open box Amazon Warehouse deal, and am a little disappointed with it's vacuum power. Not sure if it's defective, or if I was just expecting more. It provides about the same if not slightly less vacuum that my cheap Food Saver did before it died. It does give a...

    Let them grow?

It's easier to let them pass when you live on or near prime habitat. For guys who travel far in state or hunt different states, it becomes a much harder proposition. You don't know if you will get to hunt the same area the next year (or ever).

    Blonde Black Bear

It seems to be regional. Some areas I hunt I see black only, and in other areas there are way more color phase.

    Let’s Talk Bipods

I just picked up a MTN Gear and I'm pretty impressed with it for a lightweight backcountry bipod. Like @Justin Crossley says, it's got some play but certainly manageable. I have only shot one animal off a bipod and more often use a tripod, quick sticks, or improvised rest, but I like having...

    Schnees Beartooth lace holder broke

No idea. But I would suggest you reach out to Hoffman's Boots and see if they can fix it for you. Their president, Jim, went out of his way to take care of me on some boots that they didn't make or sell. Pretty stand up company. @Hoffman Boots

    Kuiu… on Amazon!?

Sounds like you have sound reasoning and not debating your choice at all. Legit question though; would your son have had the same opportunity for sales without Amazon? You both want people to continue to buy his stuff through Amazon, right? It can be hard for buyers to know what products are...
