Regarding Matty - There was an explosion at our foam manufacturer. This may impact packs at some point as well . We are still working through details

It does not require custom. Hydro ports are standard on Peregrine, Lanner , Brooks, Saker .. the other bags are more optimized for water resistance . It depends on your needs and desires. I did flip my Kayak in the Atigun gorge a few years ago and was happy to NOT have a bladder opening.
Eolus with nest is actually a sweet setup. Nest is really well done, with dual entrances .. whole thing sets up super easy .. still under 3 lbs and a lot more space than most
It is harder to load meat as the top has to be held open vs laying flat and cinching it all down. An alternative, is to carry outside pack bag if pack bag is not loaded .. then it's almost like a Breakaway with a talon and sling
My experience is pitching the 3 seam side in the wind and it did very well when using the added guy out .
This was both fabric options

If this is regarding Seek Outside product questions , please email [email protected] as our customer service has the latest details. I am not on here much anymore
We have one, that will probably be fine for an 8 ft person .. using it in Alaska this year for Caribou
Also we consider the Silex good to close to 7 ft , depending on pad
Eolus several in the 6'4 6'5 area find it fine
Those are from the small foot print tents. Of course larger tents allow more
I used to do a fair amount of peak bagging ... mostly scrambles and peaks I thought look aesthetically interesting or had pleasing views. Peak bagging is "less technical" and usually class 2 - low 4 scrambles.
We did a podcast with someone recently, that is an avid hunter, but who has also...
Will carry the same maybe a tad better since the load is integrated with the suspension instead of attached to the suspension … probably not noticeable

Frame squeak is usually a lubricant issue. I apologize for not being able to get to a thicker belt ... a few have expressed that. We have just been too busy, and while we did have a thicker foam for a bit, it is now gone. Our foams have a progressive compression rating, which is hard to...
Lots of land to camp on north of Fairbanks ( about 400 miles to dead horse )
Take bug spray , head net , bear spray
Personally I’d seek the advice of residents for most of it . I was just up there mostly fishing .
There is northern lower 48 and then northern Alaska . Certainly some...
In our testing , it is far better to link poles using our trekking pole hitch than an extender . Extenders can break the tip of poles in high winds . Also , generally speaking the Cimarron is as tall as most linked poles should go … taller shelters you can link them but the poles are not strong...
I suspect Toyota believes the more options you give, the more likely you are to screw up, the harder to train, the harder it is to vet that it will work as desired. Based on my experience in manufacturing, I would suspect they are right. I'v seen the other manufacturers offer a dizzying array of...
We do have a new podcast that discusses the various tents and best ones for best for each scenario . We have many customers that own several tents BUT we feel most people can cover every base with 2-3 plus the DST.
In general , silex or eolus , cimarron or Redcliff , and Redcliff , 8 or 12 …...
McHale usually have two belt closures . I’ve seen some old North Face packs that look pretty similar and the two people I have known with them , love them
