The pile of 'used' '22-up Tundras out there is absolutely stunning. They are everywhere! And I gotta wonder who the hell is buying them given what has gone down with that debut over the last two years.
Can't imagine that anyone here looked forward to the '22 up Tundra more than I did, I was about as obsessed as a guy could be. My 2.5 year old '22 Tundra Leaked" thread underscores this.
That said I still won't touch one. Still disgusted with Toyota ****ing everyone over with that release and...
That and the chain from what I've read.
I won't go anywhere of true distance without FlatOut in the tires, a spare heavy duty chain, a spare derailer mount and a decent small tool kit to expedite repairs.
Due today and I then read tracking....."Delivery Exception" yep...Fed Ex. Worst of the worst.
Ultimately no biggie, the road is pure mud. Running today was a mess, certainly wouldn't ride on it trying out a new eBike.
Corb, much of it hinges on '24, imho. We lose, we really lose bigtime. The system as we know it collapses. I firmly believe that, and most here know me as an optimist. I'm the guy that held a stock for hundreds of K's profit over the better part of four years through FJB.
BUT....the system...
Who said that 'no one is building'?....your words.
Enjoy while you can, seriously, get it done.
If '24 goes badly, the tough 13% times are coming even if you have no comprehension of what could be on the horizon. The bankruptcies of '08-'10....foreclosures, auctions. Insanity.
As long as people are foolish enough to pay those kinds of prices in a 'development' those contractors will charge them. I expect those builders to be in a world of hurt in the next two-three years, especially if the Dems win in '24. (Sorry for the poli-stuff, but very relevant.)
If that...
I"m thinking of taking my aluminum hitch rack/carrier and adding a couple of 5'-6' 4.5" aluminum channels on it for hauling these bikes. Couple of 4x4's under the channels to flush out the gap from the top rail.
Then a 2x2" alum tube across the front end of the channel stock to ratchet strap...
Yeah, read that a few times now. Reads a bit like some bait and switch, but maybe some guys didn't realize what they had in the cart.
Hopeful that the 750W does ship for us. Looks like that is indeed the case, but actual delivery will tell the story.

Er....the three of us. Bought two bikes days before some of these guys already crusiing...and I've received nothing other than the "Prepare for Adventure" email. Really strange process for sure.
Well, ordered 10pm Friday, and my CC was processed for Ibex and Pioneer, but no ship confirmation. Interesting how this ship stuff is all over the map.
Thanks for the insights, Jeff, much appreciated.
I'm looking forward to throwing a leg over the Ibex, been contemplating an ebike for a long time. Renee will love that 750 Pioneer to get to the tree stand or cow pasture.
This deal was too good to pass on..
