FWD in a foot of snow? Maybe if it's powder. Ain't no way your getting anywhere in a corolla in a foot of the wet heavy snow we get here in the Sierras. Even with chains on. They do however go pretty good in up to 4-5 inches if you know what you're doing.
My guess is you had a few different things all working together here. 1st being the worn out steering, which most likely attributed to your 2nd problem the tires with chunks missing. Or maybe just defective tires. 3rd would be the weight of the trailer squating the back end, taking weight off...

When was new to reloading I was neck sizing my 270. Eventually I ended up with a bunch of rounds that were tough to chamber due to never bumping the shoulder back. I now follow the Cortina Method of a very minimal shoulder bump using the FL die, and have ditched the neck dies. Same accuracy...

We used to be able to delete our own for sale post/thread once the item was sold. I don't beleive I ever remember being able to delete threads outside of the classifieds.
Same thing happened to a friend of mine. Father caught pneumonia, then died in the hospital alone because of the covid rules. Pretty sad that we threw humanity right out the window during all this.
