Interesting. Looks like the longer coal might be reducing velocity. Thanks for the reply.
Honestly I’d say that is a good group. I’d take that and go kill stuff out to the limits of that cartridge/bullet combo.
Looks good. I’d expect that TAC load to be right around 2900 fps at factory barrel length. I am interested in if a longer coal changes things. Please report back once you run it over a chrono.
Unless you already hit pressure at 23, and since you already have it on hand, I’d give 24-24.5 of TAC a try at a 2.26 coal with both the SMK and TMK. That would put you in the 556 load data range.
Received on the 17th while I was out of town. Action popped right in, no lug issues, barrel is very well centered in the 3b channel, spartan snapped right in. I did have to go after the underside of my UM bolt handle with a file as it was hitting the stock.

Accommodations: It aint no 5 star hotel, but it sure wasn’t tent...
I had a 4 rd mag start missfeeding the first 3 out of the blue. Figured out that it had somehow opened up to over 0.40" wide. Heated it with a lighter while I squeezed it with a pair a pliers, then let it cool while still under pressure. Took a couple times but got the opening back down to ~...
Last time I looked you could still get them new from Japan, but not here in the US. Which means you have to ship it back to Japan for any warranty work.
