    1998 Lexus lx470 with 30,000 miles

“I believe the 98 and 99 LX and LC are the only 100 series tripple locked as well.” I don’t think there were triple locked 100s LC. Mine is a 99 it has the rear locker which was an option. No front. I thought the 80s were the last to be triple locked and that was a option too. I could...

    1998 Lexus lx470 with 30,000 miles

If condition is even close to as described you are crazy not to buy it. Even to flip. Unless there is some crazy thing in Hawaii.

What to do with wrecked car?

I’d look into buying the parts and putting it back together myself. Wife hit a deer with our 98 Corolla liability only. Ordered new hood, headlight corner light AC condenser and radiator. Really wasn’t that bad to put back. I straightened the radiator support out with a come along😀 For this...

To stop thief from getting your guns in truck

I’d leave every one of my guns in the truck at a trailhead in Wyoming grizzly country before I’d leave a hi-point in a Pinto in Albuquerque.

    Daughters and Hunting

At 4 my daughter refused to even touch the first fish she ever caught. By 12 she was shooting elk and fully participating in cutting them up. She’s a nursing student in college now and had no qualms about dissecting dead humans in class. So yeah they can change.

When you have no cell reception.

If there’s going to be Wi-Fi any where along the trip. Airport hotel base camp etc. get WhatsApp and your wife too. It’s easy handy and pretty well used outside USA. Will be much easier than any satellite device when there is Wi-Fi. Phones in camp is easy. Airplane or low battery mode and a...

    Let’s say…

And after a year of telling everyone else to burn points this same accountant withdraws from the Wyoming draw. Huh. And now the accountant and his ever gaiter wearing friend are looking for the last remnant of elk hunting opportunity to spread all over the world. The big crusade now is...

    Packing versus riding starting out

When I was guiding wed start colts riding and packing. Pack them into camp, ride them in there and maybe back out. Miles on a trail packing will do a lot of good for a colt. We had a few that we never rode and some we almost never packed, but packing is great for getting colts going.

Disregard politics or people what’s the worst state to live in?

Wyoming. Blizzards September thru may. Roads closed every where. Hot and windy the rest of the time. Bad restaurants that specialize in serving Meth. No good jobs and real estate is sky high for cactus and greasewood.

    Peax Equipment?

Whoa whoa. These influencers use gear because it’s just the best available. Not BECAUSE OF sponsorship. I mean who doesn’t need gaiters during a hot dry archery season.
