    best thing is to learn how to skin the head out so skin can fit in a cooler or a small chest freezer in bed of your truck. Should be plenty of things to watch on you tube for caping the head out. Or take a Taxidermist with you ( I'm booked up for this year LOL) Talk with your taxidermist before...

    Which layer do you put the most importance on?

    it all must work equally to be a good system. Good boots are top of my list as well as base layers and outer layer. Wind/moister requires a good outer layer if cold base layers and mid layers have to be good.
