    Tough to beat a Ruger American I have a few of them. I’d wait for the gen 2 in 6mm creedmoor just because I think that cartridge is so cool and is readily available now. 243 6.5 creed 7mm-08 or 308 will all do what you’re asking.

    I really dislike anything over 20” for a suppressor host. 6.5 cm 308 338 fed and short mags all do well in barrels 20” and under.

    Grew up hunting them in California, they’re a little different over there being Russian boar hybrids but generally the bigger they get the worse they are to eat.
