Ha Ha I have a T/C Compass and was using it this weekend on a whitetail hunt. It was 23 degrees first morning and 13 on second. if anything came in contact with the stock it was a HELLO I'm over here. It was bad. Sling swivels were worst. What can a guy do? Foam?
What went through my head when i was looking for a scabbard was rain or snow. If the scabbard is lined in any way and gets wet then your rifle sits in that wetness. and what if it freezes after its wet? I went with plain leather.
