I’m right there with you. First it was Kuiu running 55% off their seirra pant, then Meat! 1.5hp grinder 30% off, then EuroOptic tikka sale with rebate, now this…. Good thing I saved all that money not drawing tags 😅
EuroOptic has the SG Grumman jacket, all sizes and colors it appears, for $147. Great deal, I bought two to give as Christmas gifts. Free ship if you order over $250 I believe.
If I’m driving my bow is usually not in any case. I have a string cover and pins covered, otherwise just thrown in the back seat with no problems. Soft case would be fine but I would prefer my bow in the cab regardless.
EuroOptic has some good deals on Tikkas. $649.99 for t3x lite in most calibers, add in the $75 rebate, be hard to find cheaper. Stainless models anywhere from $700-$750 before the rebate.
I have both. The only benefit of the element is weight and shorter barrel for suppressing. If you aren’t worried about weight and actually want a longer barrel, the ph2 is for you. PH2 bolt is smoother cycling as well.
If 10s and a spotter are what you have, you can absolutely just use that. Rarely do you NEED to buy some piece of gear to make a hunt.
Now are 15s better than 10s for Coues hunting? 100% without a doubt.
They live in awesome places, rut harder than just about anything else I’ve seen, and are extremely elusive…. What more could you ask for! Love chasing them
Western Mountaineering or Feathered Friends are the best options. Find the one that makes the bag you want at the specs/dimensions you want and go with it. USA made as well.
I’m sure that SG bag is nice but it’s too big for most folks (which will cut down on efficiency), has treated down, same...
I used to spend 2hrs in the gym every day for 10+ years. I’ve since built up a home gym, but have seen just about everything. Notable things that I remember are a guy sh*tting his pants, many people passing out after heavy squats/deadlifts, girls shooting OF content, a few people eating it on...
You should be able to get through an elk and anything smaller no problem without sharpening. The only thing I’ve needed touch ups on was moose, bison, or if doing more than one elk. I primarily use magnacut and s35vn knives.
I'm right there with you. If I have been out there all day busting my butt and working a ridge back to the truck, see a guy "hike his butt off" just to hunt the last 2 hrs of light, I'm probably not deviating from my plan. Again, I could be wrong, wasn't there, just going off context clues...
