Any firefighters out there?
Not sure if it is an option for you but I joined the USAR back in the 80's as a FF. I was already a volunteer at the time but it gave me more advanced training to include aircraft crash FF. The training was at an air force base in IL, so 8 weeks of basic training, 6 weeks of advanced (FF)...- LFC911

ZULU6 HDX (16x42) vs Vortex UHD 12x50
I switched Razor 10x50 HD's for the Z6 16x42 and very happy with them. -
Inguinal Hernia & surgery?
24 hours post op, feeling better than expected. Very little pain in my abdomen, more like it just did 100 situps, just a tightness. Shoulders still hurt off and on from the CO2 but it is very minor, like a 1-2 on a scale of 10. In two weeks i can start exercising. Just walking the dog now and...- LFC911

Sig Zulu 6
I got a pair of Z6 16x42's and replaced my 10x50 Razor HD's...the only downside i've found so far is they're swimming in my old bino harness and either need to find a fixture that fits them in the FHF I have or get a new harness. I'm hoping someone comes up with something custom for them soon. -

Best bino harness for Zulu 6's?
I have the 16x42's, I measured them last night and I think they were 7.75" x 4" with the eye cups out. -
Best bino harness for Zulu 6's?
I currently have the FHF Pro M Standard sized bino harness, which worked great for my Razor HD 10x50's however my new Sig Sauer Zulu 6's are swimming in them. What bino harness have you found to fit the Zulu 6's better? TIA -

Is your life revolving around your upcoming Elk hunt?
It is probably not healthy but I think of elk hunting every hour of the day. More like an obsession, OCD. I have made some good decisions because of it; quit drinking, eating better, and getting in better shape. Can't say that I would have done those things w/o it but I'm better for it. I fear... -
