The wolf debacle continues, as noted it will never end. We were foolish in 1996 to ever allow them and agree to the established number that was far surpassed before the crazy judge chosen kept nixing the ability to manage them once the agreed number was reached. Now we have the Colorado...
@expertwitness would read his posts twice. I retired from Safeco as property adjuster last year after 30 yrs. Many variables go into the rate process and as the cost of everything has risen that means the cost of repair has risen, thus loss ratios and is then passed on to us. Sometimes the...
Have fun know that country very well. If the Crispi Nevadas fit they would be a good choice. They are about as waterproof as a leather boot can be and that country will soak you before you get out of the rig🤣 good luck
Find places with close topo lines and rest assured you will not find many going up over 1000 ft straight up. Trails and big gapped lines yes more competition, steep and painful you can get away from 99% just have to find those places🤙
No….but if there were 20 of those rubs in dark timber from mannnny years yes🤙 1 random rub means simply a bull came by, a history of rubs says this is a routine spot they cruise by and May be a spot to check out.
A stove in crappy weather makes all the difference. Will lift your spirit, dry you out and just more comfortable when mother nature turns south🤙 I’ve gone from the supertarp with annex, silvertip, cimarron lite, cimarron dcf and redcliff. Cimarron awesome for two tight but manageable and...
So many awesome reed choices today to find the one that works best for your palate. They are not $2.99 like they were in the 80s but so many more options, quality is far better and consistency from reed to reed when you find the one you like. Decades ago you bought 3 of the same reed and one worked🤣
Nothing like a wall tent in the late season. Nights are long and comfort goes a long ways to success in the late season. So many more variables than early season. I’ve often moved my 8x10 wall tent if the area did not produce 30 minutes and on the road🤙
What a joke this is🤣 as noted above the only legit argument against shed hunting is pressure on animals so lets charge only non res to do it 🤣 ok. I know 30 plus Idaho shed hunters all ages 99% live in Idaho. A few don’t hunt basically at all. Haters will hate and my collection is 40 plus years...
No choice ttr is the only choice. Packed double digit bulls out with it. Much better power and traction with narrow tires. Easier to navigate. Practice and get proficient with riding with weight.
Having been a purchaser of nonresident tags for 30 yrs, NO on the draw system. The current system allows you to find a way to buy a tag every year, a draw is just luck.
I always laugh when I see posts of this nature. It is common sense, add a large pack predator and one who produces large litters. They do not eat grass, their prey generates 1-2 offspring a year. You don‘t allow any hunting of them for a decade If ever. I was not a great student but good in...
Find what they need, food, water and security and you find elk. tbt bull from 2004. Was shot above a campground, verrry steep, nasty and dark north slope. Shot many here and over 30 yrs I have seen one hunter on it and they were hours too late. Miles in No, very steep up Yes😍
Biggest change...
