Just need one more of those; honest..I can quit anytime.

Arrows/Components/Broadheads/Bows Tents Water Filtration Mid-Layers (I've about decided to ditch them because I usually just end up only using a base layer and a puffy) and like a lot of others, definitely knives.

What to do if I can't try on a pack

I'd have to say that Kifaru's measurement system is pretty dialed in. I'm a tall guy with a longer torso than most. I usually have trouble getting tops that fit. I gave Kifaru all of my measurements and my frame/pack came in the mail with no adjustments needed. I can't speak to SG because I...

    At home workouts

Another +1 for MTN Tough. Great programming. They cater to home gyms or nothing at all. Workouts will expose your weaknesses fast!

    Added Fat

I've had some bad experiences with processors doing this, sometimes it turns out fine, sometimes its awful. The few times I've ground my own, I've chopped up a chuck roast or thrown in some pork belly if I wanted extra fat.

    2 Questions for Archery Hunters

If I'm hunting around people with firearms, I'd have some orange. Too many stories out there. My dad took a buckshot pellet to the hip and his brother caught one in the knee back when i was a kid due to another hunters carelessness. And I go nocks down if I strap my bow to my pack for long hikes.

Inconsistent tear with hand held release

I agree. I tend to get a different tear when I get the release to vertical on my face. I'd flatten it out and let the back muscles help you finish towards your release hand shoulder.

2 deer this season. 1 taste terrible

Interesting... Maybe compare the two from time of shot to the freezer and see which variables were different that could have caused it. I know the feeling though, I've never had backstrap not turn out well, but have had some bad experiences with meat processors that gave me back a product that...

What did you do today to get ready for archery season?

CBC 2021... It's always a wake up call. It shows how good/bad you are after a couple days of only getting one shot a day. It always pushes me to start shooting every day throughout the summer.

What comfort/non essential items do you pack?

Lol at the guy with a 30 pack. That's serious! I pack in one of the 1 lb REI camp chairs and my crocs. Feels great at night to have a chair to cook and eat dinner in. The chair also adds a lot of comfort to glassing.
