Ollin adapter sizing
Morning, I am curious how tight the tolerances are on the Ollin eyepiece adapters are? I have a Hawke spotting scope and they don't have an eye piece exactly for this model. I am wondering if I get an adapter that is +-0.5mm that would fit or not. Looks like a great set up either way.- Jstumbaugh

.410 shot size for rabbits
Killed a lot of rabbits with #6 out of a 410 over the years. Most were running beagles when we were kids. Longest shot I ever made with the 410 was 37 paces.- Jstumbaugh

It’s super thick and tough country. There are good bucks there but damn hard to find without snow. Been tough to get the right weather lately where you can track them. Good snow and you can make it happen.- Jstumbaugh

Question - can anyone point me to studies of lead vs copper bullets on game?
I don’t have many copper kills to add much experience related info but I will add this. Copper shoots well out of my 243. Anyone rent vehicles on hunting trips?
We rented a suburban in 2022 for our elk hunt. Keep an eye on rental prices as they fluctuate drastically. I booked the reservation in March at almost $1100 for 10 days with unlimited mileage.
