If you like that stock , mill/route a groove(s) into the fore end and bed two 1/4" dia. stainless rods.
I personally like the Hogue stocks on my Howa rifles and bedding in rods made them rock solid ......
Edited, they were 3/16" dia
Hornady 180gr FMJ and 180gr HAP are standard fodder for range reloads, neither are more than .20c per bullet. Sign up for notifications and you'll have no problem finding some.
Keep an eye on American reloading and Rocky Mountain Reloading. I've scored multiple thousands of 180gr HST and...
180gr fmj, ...The best bang for the buck is the Underwood Range Supply. It's the "hottest" factory loaded plinking ammo you'll find. My second choice is the SIG ball ammo, just as spicy and accurate as the Underwood, but its too pricey for volume shooting. Both the S&B and Magtech plinking...
I'm looking for a carrier. I wish I would have kept mine but hindsight is 20/20 and now there are grand babies that need to see the backcountry. What do you have or recommend?
I just started using gunbroker two months ago and it's surprisingly painless. I've sold a little over $5k in ammo and only had one buyer that never paid/responded after winning the item. Don't ship anything until you have been paid in full and everything will be just fine. Ive accepted Money...
If you're OK with spending money on cheap, stolen Intellectual property, Chinese knockoffs, go for it and don't worry about what other people think. Since you didn't name a particular product I'm just going to assume you're an airsoft guy and came here for a pat on the back.
Just a follow up for any of you that read or followed this. Hornady received and tested the ammo I returned and it would not chamber in their M1 platform either., it was indeed out of spec for 6.5.
They will be shipping out replacement A.G. as soon as it comes off the line. Fantastic service...
It's a bimetal round. Very common in milsurp and is still manufactured by lake city under contract. Almost all of your shit import ammo like Tula, wolf, and the other myriad of junk steel case will be a bi metal projectile.
I personally wouldn't shoot it through a nicer high end precision rifle...
Lolololol, $3 per round for S&B plinking ammo.
Looks like Alamo ammo is going on the same do not buy from list as cheaper than dirt and Everglades ammo.
I just got home from a week in TN& AL. My original plan was to spend a day or two in Nashville and see the sights, local food etc.. Spent half a day downtown and decided that was enough for me and headed east. The amount of construction, traffic, and homeless people is astonishing. ,Check out...
I've posted this before and got some criticism from other members here , so I'll post it again for fun..
The Safariland ALS is a fantastic platform and my go to holster for almost every application. The problem is the thumb break release mechanism locks up in continuous wet/freezing...
Old thread but I figured I'd throw my experiences in. The SST should not be the first choice on any game under 300lbs or under 300 yards. I've used it in 6.5creed, .270, 308, and 243.
It bang flops every time but the meat loss is unacceptable imo. Shoulder shots look like IED entrances and...
Are you going to be carrying in inclement weather? Meaning, the holster will be in sub zero temps, ,rain, snow, for 10 -18 hrs at a time and in dirt, mud, then frozen and thawed all within a 24hr period?
