    Are all sleeping pads terrible?

    I have tried a lot of pads and until I went with a 30" wide pad I struggled...side sleeper that turns a lot and the wide pads worked for me. It's worth the weight to get sleep.

    Find white oak acorns and find the bears...they will be up in the tree eating them like squirrels. Lots of bears in north georgia they are lazy and like ridge tops.

    Another vote for Buena Vista. Stay night or two in surf hotel. Good coffe shops and food around..old school drive in theater..st elmo and lots of great hiking in the collegiate peaks.
