6 gt load data?
34.5 grains of varget in alpha brass/cci450 gives me 2860fps with 109eldm or 110 a-tips in my 22” GT. same load shoots 2900 in my 26” gun. Edit* this almost mirrors factory hornady loading for 6gt exactly. Same dope for factory or handloads is handy -

~50-60 rounds at that point. It’ll likely speed up a little but I’m not too worried if it doesn’t either, I’m not chasing speed. -

I’ve got a 22” lightweight hunting 6GT. My go to load is 34.5 of varget behind 110 a-tips. Runs exactly 2850. When I got my 26” PPR from GAP I tossed the same load in it just because and it chronoed 2870. Obviously the Varget is more optimal for the short barrel. -

Bartlein website shows #3.95 of course caliber makes a difference. On my basic scale I show #3.8. I had planned to cut to 22” length and flute (possibly even short shank) but I ended up with a prefit in the interest of time.- Lemhi

Absolutely. 110 a-tips @2950 are super efficient. I’ve got a GAP built GT that consists of a defiance anti, bartlein #4 carbon barrel finished at 22” in a manners EHSL. Nothing I’ve killed with it has noticed the 110 being only 100fps slower than the 108’s from the 6creed. Creed on the...- Lemhi
