I don’t think I’ve ever felt my 22 silencers get really hot, centerfire ones absolutely but not so much with rimfires.
Just think, have you ever burned yourself on the barrel of your 22? I havnt.

Just getting into duck hunting, there are lots of different calls out there.
Which one should I get? Budget isn’t an issue, I’d like to get ones I’ll be happy with for a long time rather than buying cheap stuff that I’ll want to replace relatively quickly.

It’s my least favorite part as well but it’s awesome when I sit down to reload and all my prep and priming is done. I hate when I have to prep prime AND load.
130g ttsx in my 308, I’m getting about 3080fps out of my 18” barrel.
I used a brand new Redding master hunter die set, it was a great upgrade over my old rcbs dies.
I shot the LTI this morning, no issues on 2 different rifles, small sample size but it worked as it should on a Seekins havak element 6.5c and a tikka 30-06.
I like it less than my TBAC ultra 7 and my scythe but more than my banish 30. That’s for another thread though.
I have an old mountain hardware parka with a wind proof shell. It’s probably not made anymore but it’s an expedition weight type thing.
