    Almost ready to hit the mountains - how's the gear list coming along?

    I did a MT archery and rifle hunt this year. I used non-insulated boots for both hunts and used thicker socks for early Nov rifle and they were fine. I'd look at Stone Glacier gaiters, my kenetreks popped rivets on the lace hooks.

    I've shot all 3 in my 6br. Granted these are the 6mm, 105 hybrid, 108 ELD-M and 110 ATip the berger and Atip both shoot well. I didn't like the ELD-M.

    ✌️ 2 different trips to Montana. Had 2 close encounters with bulls and 1 with a cow during archery. Nothing during rifle. Spent 14 days total. It was my first time elk hunting. Until next season.......
