I’ve become accustomed to carrying a multi-tool over a knife for real EDC. I’m an HVAC tech and it is much more useful day to day. That said, I haven’t left my house without my Surefire in over 15 years, that’s the real EDC! -

Why is the .270 Winchester so under loaded?

Why is the .270 Winchester so under loaded?
My 25” 8 twist .270 Win gets 3200fps with 150 SST and 3050 with the 165 ABLR. Neither of the loads are max. -

Shoots really good out to 400 yards with the 165 ABLR and Magpro. Might even get tighter with different seating depths and more rounds down the barrel. For now I’m leaving it alone for a new owner.- 83cj-7

The forend was opened up with a ball mill. This cuts through the carbon/kevlar shell and exposes the foam. Parts of the carbon are actually removed and placed lower in the foam.
