I’m in the same boat as you. I swapped the pad from the duplex to the ark and am getting a lot of pressure in one spot on my back. I’m going to tweak the torso length a little more, but I’m afraid the duplex is going to be the frame that fits me.

I would put a lid on it, and maybe consider a larger pack. I took the Dall on my trip up there which is significantly larger than the reckoning and I was maxed out with a sheep cape and some meat along with my gear.

I have one. Used it the last few days on day hunts for bears. The new material feels not as stiff as the xpac was. Haven’t had it very cold yet. I’ll be running it without a lid for future day trips, just don’t need it and descent organization with the two front pockets.
