I was offered the opportunity to try out Davis Tent's new Single Shot shelter and will post up a review on it after the coming hunting season.
This is a unique shelter. It is made out of the same materials and construction Davis Tent uses on their bigger cotton wall tents but designed as a...
Just uploaded my most recent video from my last hunt in Kansas and the eastern plains of Colorado.
I had Blake and Cam along with Marty from Iron Will for part of the trip.
We had a bunch of tags but killed more time than deer. Hope you enjoy the film!

A big mature bull's hind quarter is going to be tough to fit in about any bag. I think the person that wants an ultra light bag like the KU4300 is going to be be deboning the elk rather than carrying all that extra weight of bones.
I have had both AA and the Pinwheel and preferred pinwheel but this year it would not show any of the new bows. I contacted Larry (this is not the first, second or fifth time) and he said if I had the current version it should be fine. It was the current version and it was not showing me...
Finally a story worthy of reading 9 pages. God luck OP, sounds like you will need it.
My vote is it being a Vole. If what the others said is true and they (voles) want out, maybe leave him a route out open?
Could lead to other rodents getting in but trading 007 vole for a couple trappable...
I will ask about the differences between the prototype and production model. It was my understanding that it was an additional exterior finish but I could be wrong.
I had my review turned in the same week that I saw the production version in the Kifaru media release just like everyone else...
The frame sheet I provided pics of in the review is a prototype. The production version got a different coating over it.
I would email them these pics to see if those marks on the frame are trouble or not a big deal. I can understand being disappointed that your new frame looks beat up.
Nothing, the pouches attach like they did to a duplex.
The belt pouch takes up all of the width so no I can not have it and Kifaru nalgene on same side.
Now that I am looking at it, I have five slots along the width of my belt and it appears @T_Widdy only has four?
I was told mine is a small...
I have a small belt and I used the small belt pouches on my belt with zero difference from the duplex.
The only thing I found different was installing them in the laser cut material.
Congrats on a wife that likes your A$$, you have already won the race!.
I am 5' 11" and 185lbs with a butt that says I did not skip leg day. I have use the flat and curved Duplex frames and prefer the curved frames. The Ark fits me better than either.
TOUGH as nails. That bag had its ass kicked between me and the other hunters that used/tested it. The very bag I used had multiple packouts before I ever used it.
That would be my assumption. I can tell you that I looked at Kenneth at Kifaru like it was a practical joke on me when he handed me the ARK frame with the KU 4300 on it. The combo was so light I thought it was was not real.
