One other thing that I forgot, and it seems important to me:
The riser is wide where the rest goes. I was told at Bear Creek Archery that "most" rests with standard mounting don't have enough left (for the bow) travel to accommodate. I was told my Trinity would not fit and my Epsilon would not...
I went and shot a 60# 31 and a 70# 35 turned down to 60. The 35 was great and am going to wait until a 33 comes in to see if it has an acceptable string angle.
The limb tuning features works as advertised. Bear Creek Archery volunteered to show it off and it took a full 2min to go from bullet...
Mach 34 E2 70lb
Gray/gray
Tap roller and stops
220 shim kit included
Installed Catfish Customs plus sparsely used factory.
Can see small spot of black riser and there's a super boogar on a limb that I couldn't get off with my finger nail (likely not a boogar)---> both shown
I tore my labrum in...
I think the mountain techs should work. My only potential concern with not ordering was if the eyepiece side of the scope was significantly fatter and might need a higher ring to clear the back edge of my rails.
I should know tonight and will hit you up to borrow IF I decide to go shoot it...
I've got the final rise gloves, actually they have them because some stitching was coming out, but isn't that a higher cost?
The orvis vest came to mind. I also have a Tensing one I got a few years ago and didn't use until last year once we sent a deposit in for the puppy. I couldn't get my...
I would make you mad then, I have no problem talking to another hunter if our paths cross. If I am aware of what someone else has planned to do, and if I am honest with them about my plan, it clears the air of any guesswork on if someone is ignorant or being a turd. They also might have some...
My take on what you described was that the person was trying to do what you just wrote. He asked if his route would boogar you up. If I got a cryptic answer when trying to be polite to someone in the field, I'm not going to do much more than shrug my shoulders and be on my way. A way that may or...
Then shells in pockets? My first year of college in Kansas we used bailing twine...
I think this is the big benefit to a pseudo load bearing vest. 90% of the stuff I have been carrying this year is for my puppy. I still don't think it's excess other than the big honking cube of a first aid...
It looks like one is put for delivery to me today. Same story as the last scope, I need to order rings; didn't yet because I am unsure if I need them to be higher due to tube size.
Why didn't you just speak directly as to if it would bother you?
"Yes, it would screw me up"
"No, that doesn't screw me up"
You don't have claim to everything in view any more than another hunter does. That other hunter doesn't know what you are intending to do with your immediate time, so, I...
If you ran across a hunter in the field without a vest because of finances, what would you suggest for a cheaper alternative?
I am ignorant having not pursued birds in 20 years, and haven't looked in the non-obvious places for alternatives.
Seems to work out just fine. We were away from the vehicle for 6 hours and had all we needed (more than we needed) for the day. My one complaint so far (after the size exchange) is that the shell loops were tight.
I just use the bow master press, I can do most things.
I might go try and shoot one this week. My normal shop isn't a dealer but a nearby shop is. They even have 60# in stock, which is somewhat unique.
