Got the Shaw barrel on and ready enough to shoot. Weight again is scoped, suppressed and loaded 10 rounds. Should be 4 lbs 1.4 oz bare. First day with the Garmin so I had a few rifles to get data on, and three rifles to zero. Managed to get 70 round through it though. Cheaper ammo just to get...
Buddy bought a pair, I tried them for a bit on a mule deer scouting trip.
The image stabilization made me feel like I was looking at a video game, Probably just takes some time to get used to it but offhand vs my Zeiss 10's on a tripod I preferred the latter. I think they've come out with...
Packed 3.5 miles and over 2000’ this season with 3 days of water and food into a spot. Was met by quads from the other side that I didn’t think could access the area. Even talked to a bio before about it. That’s a shitty feeling.
Definitely more anti-vehicle than anti-pack animal.
Proximity to a quality place to shoot is huge, especially at distance.
Another reason for me to gtf out of Seattle, but my spots are 2 1/2 hours away minimum. Almost just have to make a weekend out of it.

Yeah it just looks similar enough to me and the guy isn't real clear on whether it's a "new" scope to him or if it's a "newly designed" scope. Since it's still available for purchase I figure the former could be true.
Wayne in Pendleton. Everyone warns you that he's "slow", but does great work. I think it's just cause everyone uses him, high volume. He had 60 other thread jobs when I took mine in. Ended up only taking a couple weeks instead of 4. His shop was stuffed to the gills with rifles...
Spotted plenty of deer with my Vortex Diamondbacks before I upgraded...of course, who knows how many more I would've spotted with alpha glass, ha! They make a good pair of truck/boat/duck blind binos now. (Is it a d*** move to use them to see what tackle other guys are using while salmon...
It's available on the website, pretty sure it has been for a while. Not a new design?

Not in favor of more regulation. It could start out with the intent of having WY change their law, next thing you know you need a guide to hunt any wilderness in the west as a NR.
The idea of reciprocity with regards to cougar hunting (which is how they started the convo) is even more stupid.
