I was messing with my trigger today on a zero’d rifle. I had to remove the stock to do the work and reinstalled it and torqued action screws to spec.
Now I’m concerned I might not be zero’d anymore cause I removed and reinstalled the stock. I’ve got a zero’d backup rifle for this weekends...
That's my only beef with my 22" sporter Howa Mini 6 ARC. With the adapter and can, its probably 27 to 28" inches. It's not heavy, but a little on the long side.
Not a mountain rifle build but rather a discreet, suburban eradication build.
Traditions Outfitter G3 take down rifle in 300 Blackout. Shooting 188 grain Discreet ballistics subs. Disassembles and fits in my pack.
I'm going to go the Howa Mini route when LSI releases them to the market. If they do a 22" sporter and a shorter heavier barrel, I'll probably go with the 22" sporter like I got with the 6mm ARC.
I’m looking for the stock HACT actuator spring that has not been modified with coils removed. If anyone has one they can spare, I’m interested.
Thanks!
Here’s an interesting one. My Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor UPR is my most accurate rifle. My 6 ARC Howa Mini is a sweet rifle and I give the edge to it being my favorite cartridge.
Would you take your most accurate rifle or the “adequate” rifle that shoots your favorite cartridge?
I own a 6 ARC but if I’m just woods hunting, I’ll either take my bow or a single shot 300 blackout.
I’m steadier with my bow to 40 yards than shooting a rifle off hand.
