The 6.5-06 AI was and is still a lot of fun to shoot and can achieve good performance. With that said, I will not build another after my last barrel is toast.

The cot is not as important as the pad and the bedding. The most comfortable camp bed I've ever used is the Born Outdoor Badger Bed. It has a Thermarest pad, sheets, and quilt. It's really comfortable.
