It’s definitely 3 blades vs two as why you see more blood on the ground. Same thing goes for exodus vs iron will or buzzcuts. That triangular hole opens up and doesn’t close.
I shoot the 125 grain fatal steels. They’re 1.5” cut. The ferrule is stronger and shorter than comparable sized grim...
If they’re smelling your scent on a climbing stick, they’re smelling you regardless. You didn’t teleport into the woods. Your ground scent is still there. If deer are seeing and spooking off your sticks, you’re not setting up the right way anyhow.
Somewhere along the way we got lost and began...
And that’s the reason if you’re only going to have one stand to bow hunt out of, a climber ain’t it. You can put a loc on in any tree you can put a climber in.
The other issue with a climber is hiding yourself. It’s so much harder to hide in a telephone pole tree. You can climb to 25+ feet and...
Climbers are definitely more comfortable. The issue is you end up tree hunting instead of deer hunting. With a firearm, it’s not quite as critical, with a bow it’s a game of inches.

Spot burning is spot burning. Doesn’t matter it’s for elk in the Rockies or woods goats on the east coast. You already know where you want to go. Just go and keep it off the internet. This stuff lives forever. Good luck to you and your buddy.

Dude, just look at some maps at places that look like deer would exist without much human disturbance and go hunting. If you want a guided hunt, book one.

EXO k4 5000 or 7200.
The 7200 has the same layout as the 3600. I had a 3600 and returned it. Currently have the 7200. From packing down to a daypack size, the 7200 gets just as small as the 3600 with twice as much capacity for 7 more ounces. It’s mind boggling how little that big bag can get...
I hunt with some fellows that all had guide light MT framed mystery ranch packs. One of them was a beartooth, the others were a sawtooth, Metcalf, and Marshall. They’ve all got EXO packs now. Each one talked about pack slip under heavy load that they don’t get with EXO.

I’ve killed somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 big game animals with a bow and arrow. Contrary to popular marketing of over top being inferior to rear deploying, my favorite mech head is the grim reaper 1.5” fatal steel. Before that came to market, it was the 1 3/8” grim reaper.
I’ve killed...
At the end of the day, anything that’s sharp works when the archer puts it where it’s supposed to be. When they don’t put it where it’s supposed to be, things get dicey, no matter the head.

This may end up being a good thing for Colorado archery elk hunting. Forcing everyone to draw should eliminate the “well I didn’t draw LE, so I’ll get an OTC archery tag.” If you want to archery hunt, you’re going to nuke those points.
Rifle is going to be a pumpkin patch. I couldn’t imagine...
That’s about right. I don’t think any manufacturer has made a bow that hit its ibo speed since the early 2010s.
296 is what I got in my calculator figuring 12 grains on the string, 385 grain arrow, 70#, 27”, and 342 ibo.
10 fps slow is about spot on for any bow made post 2017.

I second hammock gear quilts. They are an awesome deal. I got my dad a 10 degree quilt when they had their last sale. I’m beyond impressed with the build quality, fill and loft for the price.

Supply in this instance isn’t the tag. It’s the actual availability of the tag. Demand has outpaced the actual availability of the tags, that’s why point systems were created. Point creep is further evident to the demand outpacing the actual availability. The explosion of western hunting pushed...
One that’s paid off, reliable, and easy enough to work on.
Everyone I know with a ‘20+ truck has had to have work done to it if they didn’t hock it for a newer one.
Knock on wood, I change the engine and diff oil, transmission fluid, tires, brakes and wiper blades on my 2011 taco. I do it...
Their bottom line is probably better now than it was before. Cottage shop level CS costs too much money in corporate America.
