Kuiu north ridge is plenty for whitetails. The heavier stuff is for busting brush. I’ve sat through some absolutely ridiculous, need your head checked for sitting in a tree, rain and been bone dry underneath the north ridge.

There’s only so many ways to skin a cat. If you’re getting busted because of your camo pattern, you’re getting busted anyway.

I think you’re asking a question that has a much simpler answer if you use the right terminology.
You need to know how to HOLD OVER accordingly based on your PIN GAPS to put arrows in the boiler room. It’s really that simple.
I’ve got a 20 and 35 yard pin on my whitetail setup. I know where...
Before the multiple pin single post sights gained the popularity that they have today, I had one pin set at 27 yards. 29” draw, 74#, 480ish grain arrow, and I was easily able to cover everything from 0-35.
I can do 0-50 with the double pin set up one of my bows and 0-45 on the other. Granted I...
I’ve had everything whitetail from Sitka except for the incinerator.
What I finally settled on was this for colder temps:
Stratus bibs
Fanatic vest
Traverse hoody (think the whitetail line is equinox)
Heavy base layers.
That gets me down into the low 20s just fine. It’s not ever that cold...
These look pretty awesome. Q2i has definitely become my favorite vane over time. They stick like nothing else, stiffer than most, and their colors really pop.
As quiet as max stealth but as stable as a blazer profile sounds like an absolute winner. Are you all going to offer it in any other...
Because he was there killing for content (KFC) to sell the ridiculously over priced arrows that don’t have the spine sizes or components available to build a buffalo arrow.
KFC >>> ETHICS

If I had to bet every dollar to my name on a sight sustaining abuse it would be on a spot hogg hunter or grinder. Hoggs are built like tanks. A rigid mount fixed pin spot hogg is the most robust sight you’ll find.
I’ve got an axcel landslyde on one of my bows and an MBG dual trac on another at...
Stop elk, especially the ones coming into calls. I had a bull coming into calling a few years ago that was standing in front of a blowdown a down as still as a statue at 25 yards. At the moment my shot was breaking, he leapt over that blow down in a fraction of a second like a gazelle. I...
I’d keep going. You don’t really have any other option besides shimming the cam or swapping limb configuration around, which you can’t do at the moment.

I’m not saying it’s the broadhead, because you’ve also the tail left through paper verifying what you’re seeing, but basing any tuning off of just one head isn’t a great idea.
I’d get that paper tune tear figured out then shoot the broadheads. You need to be moving your rest right (away from...
Sounds like a bow shop really close to me. What state are you in. I’d be more than happy to help you out. I’ve got an archery shop in my garage.

I’d pay attention to your water storage/delivery that time of year. Frozen hoses and nozzles would be expected that late in the year.
Agree with everyone that said go warmer on bag/pad. I wouldn’t count on your all of your layers keeping you warm that late in the year. Decent chance they’re...
I just put a set of strings on one of these for a buddy recently. That bow was so far ahead of its time. I shot the heck out of it for a few days, and was blown away by how good that bow still is. Looks like you took awesome care of this one. Someone is getting a great set up.

At your specs, there’s no way I’d be worried about a deer scapula. You’re putting more energy into the dirt on the other side of deer than needed with a fixed head.

The MBG double pin has a smaller adjustment range than the FE triple stack. Depending on your bows speed, you might not get 20/35 split on the MBG.
I’d make sure you’ve got enough travel in the pin you’re not removing before you do it. Personally, I’d remove the middle pin on the triple stack...
Agree with all of this!
A short, high profile vane in a 3 fletch with decent offset will make fixed heads fly with field tips out of a bow that’s not perfectly tuned. That’s enough for me to never shoot anything else hunting, because they’re more forgiving.
Q2i is top of the heap in my...
I think we can all agree that hitting what you’re aiming at is the goal.
Lost animals, in my experience, overwhelmingly come from not hitting what you were aiming for. What arrow system gives you the highest likelihood of hitting what you’re aiming at?
A moderately weighted (420-500 grains)...
