That’s certainly my favorite suppressor, but not in the same versatile category as the AK 360 or AB variations, in that it’s limited to 30 cal. The first two being the only options for .338 and up in a lightweight titanium can, sub 10 oz.
That all makes sense for that use case. 👌🏼
No one’s trying to convince you that you married the wrong person.. which it feels like a marriage when you buy into a suppressor haha
I can't believe it either. For anyone curious, these are Mid 2024 & later serial number and are compatible with the new TAs Tripod Adapter, meaning that the center cap comes off and they mount up to the adapter with no Outdoorsmans stud or modification at all.
That is also correct. When shooting with a friend, I couldn’t give him a correct “shoot to”distance (steep uphill angle) with my BR4 set up the way it is, ie Display LOS & give solution in Mil’s.
It does not. I’ll be carrying it on Afognak Is. while elk hunting around some of the highest density of brown bears around. Wouldn’t normally carry a side arm along with the rifle, but in this case deem it prudent.
6". Its not watertight. The neoprene cover on the end comes off when bushwacking and is not waterproof. I still tape up the brake & bore. Not sure of weight offhand, but its about the same as any cover. 2-3 oz.
Which is always my dilemma here in Alaska. You have needs for both things on the same hunt, especially walking in and solo. So difficult to get it right.
