    Nissan Xterra

My 2006 is coming up on 300k. Still the original engine, six-speed manual, T/Case and diffs. I have always been a Toyota guy, but this has been a great vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if the deal was right.

    Opinion on Stone Glacier clothes

I have been very pleased with Stone Glacier products. The Helio hoodie is one of my favorite pieces, though the bottoms (not zip-off) fit a little weird. I absolutely love the fit of the DeHavilland Lite pants. I do see more pilling in the knees on the SG pants compared to Sitka Mountain pants...

    Colorado late season Goat gear.

I drew a 4th season Colorado goat tag. The weather could be anything from dry and wonderful to extreme winter conditions. Would it be wise to have snowshoes and crampons?

    Best rangefinder brand for longevity????

I had one instance where I could not get a bounce on some antelope in the fog. I still don't know why. I could see them well enough, but it just would not read. Outside of that they have been great.

    Burris Optics Overall Impressions/Reliability

I have friends who swear by them, but I haven't had great luck with Burris products. Surprisingly, one of the few I haven't had to send back is a 3-9 Fullfield 2 on my daughter's 308. Issues have ranged from adjustment knobs that won't turn, to an inoperative parallax adjustment on an XTR. The...

Thank you. I got the scope from Cameraland. I have a couple of weeks to figure it out before the sale ends. Again, I appreciate your input.

Japan made Burris Signature HD latest model selling for $207 on Amazon

I received an older style Signature HD in 12x50 as a warranty replacement for even older Signature 10x50. I used them for one season but grew tired of the focus changing when the hinge joint was articulated. I also found the focus to be extremely finicky. Do the newer models have this issue as well?

    Kowa TSN-553/554 stay-on cover?

I have those exact socks in stock! I have already purchased a spotter and a tripod for the goat hunt. I still need to get a satellite communicator. I need to go cheap somewhere. Great idea!

    Kowa TSN-553/554 stay-on cover?

Not trying to wear you out, but if yours did not come with the Cordura cover, would you pay $150 for one? $200 for a neoprene cover?

    Which rifle to Suppress?

My thoughts. I have not taken the time to prove the first one as a fact, but I feel that the 308 would suffer a little less velocity loss (as a percentage) when chopping the barrel back. Second, the .308 is more versatile in its ability to go from mouse to moose in capability. You could load...
