    I’m a little OCD so I’m laying out the steps of what you are describing to make sure I’m following. 1. Spray the adhesive on the damaged area of the boot cuff 2. Lay the fabric on the affected area against the adhesive 3. Stitch the edges for added strength Does that align?

    Not sure how cold it is where you are but have you considered foregoing the base layer bottoms and packing in puffy pants instead? I made that change a while back for similar stand type hunting and it works for me.
