    I shortened a couple of 10rd plastic MDT's to 5 rounders and they ran great in my HNT26 stocked Tikka. Modifying the 10rders was quite easy to do and shortened them physically by half.

    Forgot to mention the factory rotary 223/300BLK mags are actually six round capacity not five.

    Switch out the STANAG magwell for a rotary one, I have done this on several and all work flawlessly. Call Ruger they should be able to set you up, althought the color may not be FDE you will have to settle fir black or green. The .223 rotarys have never given me a problem with misfeeding either...

    Was the stock originally inletted for a sporter barrel or heavy/varmint? I know stockys shows the two options and wondering if I can get away with hogging out a sporter as that's the only option in a factory second.

    4090Sharps that carbon barrel looks great! Did you have to open up the barrel channel? If so how did you do it?
