Well, I'm not sure those excuses are valid reasons not to hunt the wind, but since you're asking for alternatives. I hang my clothes out on the line and it seems to do a lot to help with scent. I wear mostly wool and alpaca though, and I wear a lot of my hunting clothes year around so 🤷
I'm excited to buy it. I think it will complete my set-up. I have the base layer, midlayer, insulation layer, and windshirt down....just need something for the rain and this looks like just what I'm looking for. Light, packable, and pit zips! Right now I have a softshell for when it rains and it...
I like Kuhl, have a few pair of pants from them. I feel they're a bit noisy but otherwise love them. The one pair is in the kovert color and its excellent. The other ones are storm khaki which are absolutely great IMO for rocky arid areas.
That's why red is so great, safety + deer see it the...
I like to wear wool and I feel the same, its quiet on the ears and the eyes, just seems to meld with natural surroundings if you're wearing an earth tone.

From what I've read all greys have green, blue, or violet undertones so it can depend on the grey, but its probably safer to just avoid grey altogether or at least go for clearly green-greys. I think those greens and Browns that look...
Honestly, I think OD works fine late season up north as well. Blends fine with mossy tree trunks, evergreens, and downed logs and its brown/grey enough it doesn't stand out. I think coyote is better, but not by much.
I've seen a few people who have had good things to say about the Verdigre and Zone 7 sets, but I haven't seen anyone post anything about the Coldfjall set. Anyone have any experience with their warmest stuff?
So, just read a really interesting article by a color expert. She was talking in the context of interior design/decoration but I think we can apply what she says to clothing as well. According to her all grey has undertones of either green, blue, or violet. How much you can perceive that...
