Hunted South Dakota this past September and found a bunch of rocks stacked up about 6 feet high on top of boulders scattered around that we thought some hippies made just for fun and thought about kicking them over. Then a local rancher came up to our camp and was telling us history on the area...
Honestly I’m in the same boat I think it will end up transferring to .05 shares of FANG but I can’t find any concrete answers yet either. Definitely aggravating so far
I just did an archery antelope hunt in SD for my first antelope hunt it’s basically OTC and it was a blast pm me if you want details and I can help you out
Nomad cottonwood series. Windproof Berber fleece so very quiet and warm. In your price range for both pieces if you look around. Just pack them walking into the stand or you will be a burr magnet
I bring 2 pairs of black ovis merino briefs. I use these cellulose based “pills” that when you add a couple drops of water expand to the size of a large napkin. They fit perfectly into the orange water proof match cases when dry and I pack 2-3 of them into the backcountry (roughly 8 per case)...
I run a Pnuma insulating vest for tree stand hunting the Midwest which is synthetic down 700 fill it’s very warm but doesn’t compress as well as true down. No complaints with it as a midlayer and it’s warm and quiet.
Voted whitetail. Would love to see a tree stand layering system/bundle with harness pass throughs on outer layers and bibs. Only reason I haven't gone all in on SKRE yet
I ran Muck's for several years and then picked up a pair of Aeroheads and now the Muck's are strictly for doing chores now. The Lacrosse's are much more comfortable especially when walking a distance and provide better ankle support too
Monarch Lake near Granby has a 4 mile trail around the lake and back to the parking lot. Campground nearby but if looking to backpack camp you can access the Indian Peaks Wilderness from the same trailhead. Just need a permit to backpack camp then.
Anyone have any real time experience with this jacket? Not a lot of reviews but I have an opportunity to pick one up for a good price. How windproof is it truly? In between this and a Sitka stratus jacket but obviously much different price points. Appreciate any responses
So Nathan from their CS got back to me and said the new 280 is the warmer and full zip version of the 260. So essentially the 210 is for early season, the 260 for mid season, and the 280 for the cold/ late season.
